This is only a reportage guys... Tokura is one of the best - if not the best - lower freestylers in Japan. Bet you will be surprise seeing his combos in South Africa.

im sure fx is really affraid ;)

nah he is probably good.  but this is not my taste of freestyle, its good. but not extreme enough for the breaking/flips style...

LOL
But still Tokura's lowers should be decent enough. I mean just that if you guys are watching this now and believe this all he does, you will be surprised in South Africa.

This is more like breakdancing not Freestyle Football. Yes incorporate break moves but not nearly the whole routine.

Oh yeah, I can see the "respect all styles" thing going on in this thread!

This is just a highlight video and it's kind off logical the guy that edited it put a whole bunch of acrobatic moves which are attractive for the non-freestyle audience watching the video.

Instead of just criticizing them based on what you've seen in just this video, go watch some of their battles, for example YO's and see if they're "breakdancing and not freestyling"...

It's what you do that counts, but it's how you do it which separates you from the rest.
You can't have creativity unless you leave behind the bounded, the fixed, all the rules.

the 7th handstand was amazing. i think these sort of tricks should be used like u would use bottle stall for the crowd, no one wants to see more than one. anyway, those did look like monta balls, what kind of ball is that?

-Don't break combos.
-Don't use crossovers to save combos.
-If you're a new freestyler looking to improve, check the stickys in the help and advice section.

i HATE this stuff
doing like a backflip or hanstand once in a while is aight but in like every round its boring
i also dont like the whole jeans look
at the end of the day its a freestyle football comp not a breakdance one
really glad tokura won
hope he does some of his insane lowers in south africa
and i agree 100% fx vs rocco best freestyle battle ever

i agree ! PERFECT!

there are some great styles and creative moves in this clip..................
but in the end it´s not creative if every freestyler does that handstand block and stuff like that.....

Those aerial moves are good entertainment for the crowd.

But I agree with the others, the break dancing moves were a bit overused.

Overall those were some cool battles! (^^)
