Liverpool - What's Up?
« on: Feb 23, 2008, 12:46: AM »
They're sitting in 5th, just 3 points behind Everton, but you can never tell when they'll show up.

They tied Chelsea.
They lost to Burnley.
They beat Inter.
Kiko Macheda - Within minutes, a Wikipedia article, a Manchester United profile and 17,000 Scousers shat their pants.

I'm back.

They need player who will bring magic to their game, although they have great players, but they are all workers, they can run, tackle and shoot but there's no player with that something special(like Ronaldinho or Kaka)

I'm so fucking glad to live right now, in this insane time of Phelps, Bolt and Lin Dan...(if I start numbering all great footballers it would take tooooo much space...)

rotation has been there problem

with players like gerrard, torres especially, who are there match winners.... they should finish top 4, but with the likes of everton, villa, pompey, man city , blackburn, spurs slowely catchin them up...... they will need to sort them selves out or one of them teams will over take them

GERRARD!!
He's also runner and worker (although the best in the world)
It was visible against Inter when they were just crossing and couldn't score although they had an extra player

It's not about rotation and nobody can't blame Benitez because they had the same tactics when they won Champions League and later, when they played in finals

This is what you might think but Liverpool rotate the least out of the big 4 its just that they have too many duds in the squad he needs to find a wining formula and stick to it.. City to finish 4th.

Torres is a monster. If he keeps scoring, I back them to finish 4th.

a repeat of 05 would be awful. finishing 5th but winning CL and Everton being a complete waste losing to villarreal and getting knocked out the UEFA by some small club.

im backing Benbow on this Villa to finish 4th.

Benitez needs to get the fuck out of there. Champions League is his thing but that's where it ends. If you look at his transfer history, it's been pretty damn bad until he got Torred. And Torres didn't come without a hefty price tag.

He's got about 50 defensive center mids on his team... no true wingers that are any good, and no creativity to break down average and poor teams that simply pack the box.

Pool is most likely going to sell hyypiä and thats a big mistake, he has been the best player with gerrard and torres so far in this season
