How long?
« on: Jul 03, 2008, 06:14: AM »
How long didt it take you guys to make an ATW from kick-ups every time you tried.. I've been practising for a while now (~1month) and I only suceed like 1/4 of the times
I've started practising everyday now, and more everyday but I don't really feel any progress  :dontknow:

So, how long did it take you to nail atw from kick-ups every time

Everyone progresses at their own rate, don't be discouraged if you don't get things down as quick. I got it down in a week or two where as I've seen people have difficulty for weeks, so just keep with it and you'll get it down

i am really surprised by the time it takes for some people to learn it. when i could just do it from footstall, it took me less than an hour to do my first atw from juggle   i was juggling and when i tried it, i just imagined that the ball came from footstall. i'm really not a fast learner in freestyle since there are people a lot better than me and fsing for a shorter time.

just be patient, i still remember myself practising htw a whole evening and i was so happy i made it just before it became too dark to freestyle. still, there are tricks i'm practising for a while now, but just be patient, you'll do it one day

Yeah, I was able to do them from juggles a little bit after I was able to do atw from stall and other tricks from it, but it took a little time to get it to the point where I was really comfortable with it and it became almost natural. I had a friend do atw from foot stall his first attempt at it and he doesn't even freestyle

well, i started doing out atw from stall, and i learned how to do 5 atw out from stall, but then, i found out that it was easier for me to do inside atw, and i cant do inside atw from footstall, so i started practising from juggles, and it took me like 1-2 weeks to get it every time, and about 2-3 months to do a multiple atw 9 times
