The Germans where disgraceful. I can't believe they beat Turkey. Turkey would have made a better final. The most boring one sided final ever. That German squad deserve some kind of punishment.

Germany definitely had a chance stripped away from them there at the end by the ref in the box.  Of course the Lehmann mistake would cost them.

It was not Lehman's mistake. It was Lahm who should take all the blame. He let his man get around him. Lahm needed to use his body and not let Torres around him. Instead he moved out of the way to avoid the keeper too early. This was the main reason he sat on the bench in the second half.

I think it's just that Torres outran him.  I suppose he could have fouled him but it was torres who outran and out muscled him.

Good match by Spain. I'm glad Villa held on to the Golden Boot because it would have sucked if he lost it in the final game because he couldn't play.

Torres played good by himself. Spain looked strong and proved they were champions.
