Tricks like Clipper or Eclipse can't be unclean, just badly executed, since they don't involve going around the ball at any point. ;)

The one in the clip wasn't as bad as some I've seen, but it's still far from ideal (think Luki or even better, Honza or VaĊĦek). You need to learn the proper technique, I highly recommend watching this video:
