Advice on busking
« on: Feb 07, 2012, 08:32: AM »
I don't know if this is in the right part of the forum...

I used to freestyle a lot and come on here and Nas years and years ago.

Now i am doing a charity bike ride and i need to raise loads of money before it starts and i was thinking of busking. I'm still half decent sits, uppers lowers. What are the main things to get right when busking? I don't know if I should just go ahead and take my ball and see what happens.

Cheers

If anyone wants to be extra generous

Ah, the days when Nas and BF used to beef with each other.

There are really only 2 things to busking. 1. Finding a good location of high walking traffic preferably in a well off area. 2. Try to interact with the crowd watching. Don't just freestyle for yourself. Do things to engage the crowd. That is how you get tips.
