Nice to see you improving JPA, and no broken combos!  :Woot_Emoticon:

One thing i would advise for andres is to go back to basics and learn atw-htw combos, instead of going hardcore straight away. But nice vid guys.

I have been telling him the same thing for ages but he would rather learn hardcore tricks than the basics........

Feedback..

- At some points it seemed like you just followed some tutorials without customizing, making it your own unique edit.
- Imo the title "Be Yourself" didn't quite fit to the music, the music was way too pumping and Hollywood-ish, I think some chill liquid or electronic music would have fit way better.
- Avoid using slowmotion if your clips are recorded in low fps. Otherwise it looks really Windows Movie Maker-ish.
- Too long for a trailer. This trailer could basically have been the movie itself. Trailers are to make people excited about the upcoming product, not to show them everything.
- Bad synchronizing of the songs, unsmooth transitions.

And on the positive side.. The variation of combos n tricks was looking really good. Not to mention that the edit was better than 95 % of the videos out there, yet there are small mistakes that might make a big difference. Looking forward to this :)

andres being the lazy mofo he is only filmed for 2 days and only sent me those clips, the actual video will be 1 clip of me and 1 of him

Hello, thanks for the long feedback, just to reply to your points: 1.) i can honestly not remember having ever watched a tutorial on how to edit, everything is self taught so i dont get that, the "yellow, blue and red color transition" effect i added to a couple of clips was a request from andres as he had seen it on another fs video and he liked it, i woudent have used it myself not because it dossent look cool which it does but because its already been used way to many times in fs videos being such a distinctive effect, if you listen to the musical selections in all my official vids you will see i try and always be the first to use a certain song for a fs video, so i dont get how the editing looks tutorialish...
2.) if i would have wanted a chill relaxed video mood then sure i would have gone for different songs, however as a trailers job is to get people pumped for the actual video i think the music was perfect and believe me that me and andres listened to ALOT of songs and got feedback from over 100 people on facebook about what the song should be, and then we all of a sudden found a very unknown song and decided to use it (referring to the second one as the first is a korn and skrillex song)
3.)i agree with you there, my camera films at 60fps which is sufficient for slow mo up to the degree in which i used it, however andres's camera films at 30fps so specially the last 3 clips did have a lot of ghost trail to them, so yeah i agree with you on that one.
4.) yep it was a bit long, ideal would have been 1:30 not including the lil g intro (which ideally would have been 15 secs max).
5.) i actually think the song to video sync was very good but it could have been better with more time to edit

anyways, thanks for taking the time to leave a long comment, i will take into consideration some of your feedback and implement it into the actual  full video  :great:
