Torres & Drogba partnership

Can these 2 play together? Are they compatible? When torres first arrived in chelsea there was huge expectations of this possible new deadly duo hitting the BPL, but it has never been allowed to happen.

I remember ancelotti allowed them to play together a few times last season, but drogba was actually on the right wing. Nowadays drogba warms the bench.

IMO chelsea should play like this:

They can't play together, they're both hogs. At least with Drogba he can actually finish, unlike Torres.

On paper it looks good, but who knows how it would work on the pitch.  So far, they don't look like a good partnership.  I think both are used to being the main forward with two wide attacking mids near them.

If they want to play them both at the same time then your formation is the only one I see working.
