actually gustav is correct. becuase it was made clear that EVERYTIME HANDS ARE USED IT WILL BE COUNTED THE SAME AS ONE DROP.
and if u look at it like that, then michryc had one more drop than oli.
+ michryc used only one foot in lowers throughout his combos and oli showed amazing combos using both feet.
for me oli won fairly.
But it was the same ole from oli. Very convincing lowers - beautiful nts, but SOOOO boring uppers and sitdowns..
And your argument is that oLi clearly and fairly wins with technique (both feet argument etc)
In that case, do you think technique should be rated above variation, creativity and entertaiment together? (maybe even difficulty - who can do what Michryc does)..
anyway.. it was honestly one of the only battles i was really upset about.
Loved the comp.
and it was an amazing weekend.
i dont think technique should be rated above variation, creativity and entertainment however they were equal in variation, and neither showed so much crowd interraction which is where the enternainment aspect comes in. so we are left with technical side and creativity. michryc wins for creativity, oli for technical. but michryc didnt pull of anything creative on the spot, whereas oli pulled out something technical. creative doesnt mean something he created a long time ago, it means something he hasnt shown before that he created, and there was nothing there like that.
And MichRyc didn't pull of anything technical? I dare say his moves are way more technical since far less freestylers can do his routine, than Olis routine. The only difference is he apparently used his right foot more, which i honestly dont think is a factor to be judged harshly on.
And by creativity, something thats not been created before. True, he has pulled of many of these moves and combos in LPs, but then again, how many others have pulled of what Oli did. Probably far more than Michryc.
Idk. i was just so sure that MichRyc had this.
And another thing. They weren't in anyway equal in variation-.
