omg guys, judges had 2 days of judging and you can't accept one their mistake..  It's easy to say who won after viewing video 10 or more times, but it's not easy to pick winner who deserve it immediately after battle where both of freestylers did great..
Je kurca mog bila samo 1 loša odluka, lol.
e jebiga nisam znao xD

You're talking about Michryc's overuse of hands.
Then try to persuade me that Oli's drops look better than Michal's usage of hands!
If the rules say that the judges take minus points for touching the ball with a player's hands, then don't they take care of drops?

Spot on. :celebrate:

actually gustav is correct. becuase it was made clear that EVERYTIME HANDS ARE USED IT WILL BE COUNTED THE SAME AS ONE DROP.

and if u look at it like that, then michryc had one more drop than oli.

+ michryc used only one foot in lowers throughout his combos and oli showed amazing combos using both feet.

for me oli won fairly.

But it was the same ole from oli. Very convincing lowers - beautiful nts, but SOOOO boring uppers and sitdowns..

And your argument is that oLi clearly and fairly wins with technique (both feet argument etc)
In that case, do you think technique should be rated above variation, creativity and entertaiment together? (maybe even difficulty - who can do what Michryc does)..

anyway.. it was honestly one of the only battles i was really upset about.

i dont think technique should be rated above variation, creativity and entertainment however they were equal in variation, and neither showed so much crowd interraction which is where the enternainment aspect comes in. so we are left with technical side and creativity. michryc wins for creativity, oli for technical. but michryc didnt pull of anything creative on the spot, whereas oli pulled out something technical. creative doesnt mean something he created a long time ago, it means something he hasnt shown before that he created, and there was nothing there like that.

And MichRyc didn't pull of anything technical? I dare say his moves are way more technical since far less freestylers can do his routine, than Olis routine. The only difference is he apparently used his right foot more, which i honestly dont think is a factor to be judged harshly on.

And by creativity, something thats not been created before. True, he has pulled of many of these moves and combos in LPs, but then again, how many others have pulled of what Oli did. Probably far more than Michryc.

Idk. i was just so sure that MichRyc had this.

And another thing. They weren't in anyway equal in variation-.

You should be able to use hands just not over excessively, I think the right decision was made. I hate when freestylers do fucking arm rolls and basketball moves tricks.

there was barely any hand usage. he did 95 percent of his performance with adherence to the rules. it was such a little part during his performance that i dont know how it was 4-1 against him because of that.

This battle was a pity.
Worst decision in Prague.

I thought MichRyc was going to take it all - such a crazy mo'fo.

I don't like the way the judges judged everytime against oli though.
-especially palle.

Againsts Mikolaj: Oli
Againts MichRyc: Oli

and also AGAINST ARTHUR Palle chose to vote for Oli.. now how can you justify that? That Arthur used too much hands. I don't think so...
i have to agree with liicht-good comments
in my view 2 battles were wrong:this one and arthur vs clyde i think in semifinal(arthur lost)

equal in variation? one combo of michryc had more variation than all of olis performances in prague, let alone the sits and uppers of michryc. also the technical point clearly goes to michryc. your argument with both feet combos of oli is bullshit because it isnt hard to use your left food for the start of a nt combo. mihryc's stuff is way more techinical and michryc did a fucking insane trick with his weak foot ( the 360 thing which is a mix of latw and datw) so the technical point CLEARLY goes to michryc. in all parts. there is really NO reason why oli won this battle, it was even a bad performance for his standard, he can do better.

sorry for bringing this old topic up but i just watched the battle for the first time and i'm shocked how some of you want to justify olis win here.
