Well, both MATW and AMATW are tricks full of secrets!!!!

No, seriously, I think Patrick's tip should be good. All the tricks with crossover motion are about timing, e.g. many people fail to do TATW because they wanna do it asap, they do the ATW too quickly and immediately try to kick the ball up with crossover motion, resulting they don't kick it high enough and the ball falls on the ground....
It goes the same way for MATW/AMATW: do the inside ATW/HTW and when the ball reaches its "climax" (no lying, I suck at English

) and then starts falling on the ground, wait when the right moment comes and then you can imagine the crossover motion and use all the power to kick it high as possible. It's simple, while doing crossover, you kick the ball when the ball falls on your leg too, you don't kick it before it.
So basically, it's more about timing than about power.
