freestyle is different than some sports. you have to force yourself to do tricks. its not like football where forcing passes through crowds is dangerous to lose the ball, or basketball where forcing shots causes you to miss. my only advice is to maybe not try the same trick over and over again, because it may hurt your confidence. try the trick a few times, than do other things to take your mind of the fact that you can't get the trick yet. when you come back to it you might be better and, you will be less frustrated with it.

if i wanna do a trick or a combo badly i will not stop fsin that day until i do it
i HATE coming in from fs failing what i set out to achieve
feels shit
so yeh i force tricks

yeah sometimes i get random combos in my head and ill try to get it until the cameras battery runs out, even if im knackered, obv ill try other things too, but i can end up trying the same thing for 40 mins if i want it enough... last month i really wanted to get beck matw nt, i must have practised it for around 2 weeks before i finally got it, but it was worth it. i think its the best way to improve, and its good to achieve your goals even if its just a combo, its like proving to yourself that you can do it

I don't usually force the tricks. Just let it comes when it's the time. May be that's why I'm moving like a snail. I tried forcing the tricks several times, but still can't really do it, and also loose confidence afterwards. Like for LATW, I used to force that trick, but I couldn't do it. Several days ago (after all the practice with easy tricks) I tried and land LATWs all the way till now.

I think when you don't force the tricks, and wait til you eventually can do it, you can do it multiple times.
Other than that if you force a trick you wouldn't be able to do it as many times as when you practiced it.

when I aim to achieve combos I force myself, I keep trying the combo each practice session.
for hardcore moves, I tend to master the basic moves that are incorporated in a move
like for example latw. I used to try to force myself before to achieve latw, but I never came close to it. at that time I mastered 3 consecutive atws only
but I left latw alone and went on to do more multiple atws. finally, when I felt like latw will be easy, it took me no more than 10 tries I think to get my first latw
same for magellan, I mastered out and in atw, htw, cross-atw(nt) etc... then I got it in a short while
same for patw, I won't try it again till I master alatw (which I didn't) and can do latw-latw easily
