Camcorder problem..

i got a problem with my camera.. my pc just accept the camcorder's audio.. someone knows whats wrong?
and how can i fix it?

do you use firewire or usb for import/capture?  what file type is it if you import via usb?

that's strange.  avi's should be practically universally acceptable.

maybe you don't have certain codecs.  look for certain avi codec packages.  type it into google and you will find the downloads.

see you wouldn't run into these kindsa problems with firewire capture!!!  camcorder makers are being retarded.

you won't have these problems with a camcorder with firewire capture.  but the problem is, nowadays they only have dvd or minidv camcorders with firewire, which sucks cuz harddrive is so much easier to record with.

dude.. whats firewire, sorry?
you won't have these problems with a camcorder with firewire capture.  but the problem is, nowadays they only have dvd or minidv camcorders with firewire, which sucks cuz harddrive is so much easier to record with.

it's just another type of cable for data transfer.  but with firewire, live feed is possible while with usb, u can't directly capture into ur video editing programs via live playback.

it's also useful for ppl like me, who does animation.
