Do you trust Craigslist?
« on: Dec 31, 2008, 02:00: PM »
For the users in North America, do you trust craigslist?

For the users that have no idea what craigslist is, well its pretty much a place where you can advertise things you want to buy or sell. Sort of like ebay

craigslist is great for finding furniture, and even better for finding jobs. i've gotten both with satisfaction from craigslist.

in terms of buying games and shit like that, i don't trust any internet site like that. it's easier to just go to the store.

w/craigslist and ebay it depends more upon the seller (and ultimately the item).  don't buy stupidly, and you'll be fine

Couldn't have said it better, but you also have to remember, even though the person has 5 stars, or high rep, it doesn't necessarily mean they earned it. They could have bought the account off of someone else.

Don't be too expensive.. and trust your first instinct about the person.

Also, don't be scared to PM the user and ask questions and for photos!
