latw is latw

atw nt atw can be latw, it can also be atw nt atw (foot touch on ground) but it can also be magellen if it's out atw nt in atw... or reverse magellen if it's in atw nt out atw.

atw nt htw is atw nt htw.  it is htatw but there is no hop/jump, which is characteristic of htatw so therefore different.

atw nt cross can be tatw, or a combo if the foot touches the ground before the cross.

alternate magellen is rhtw nt htw

htw nt htw is htw nt htw.  it can also be ahmatw, but htw nt htw can be done without a hop/jump.

why is all this so hard to understand? :dontknow:

outside htw nt htw i can accept.  but half outside htw nt htw???

the "half" suggests the trick is not fully completed with the htw leg, but comes back to the original foot that touched it up.  so if ur right footed... it's left foot touch, right foot rhtw or out htw, back to left foot touch.

but since this is a nt combo we are trying to interpret alt magellen as... then it doesn't matter since it'll still have no touches in between anyway.

you could also call it rhtw/out htw nt in atw.

the nt makes it ambiguous whereas if it wasn't nt, the distinction would be clear.

half rhtw inatw nt is ahtatw

show me where i said that.  i don't see it.

either way, half rhtw nt in atw COULD be ahtatw... but it doesn't have to be.  ahtatw involves, again, the hop/jump which is characteristic of the trick, which is not needed to complete a half rhtw nt in atw combo.

How is it in atw nt if you havn't touched it with your strong foot?

How is it in atw nt if you havn't touched it with your strong foot?

if you do rhtw-in atw normally with a touch, imagine how that would look.  now subtract the touch and make it rhtw nt in atw.

but i also understand how YOU interpret it... that it's htw because you originally touched it with the left and finish with the right.

i think it's both right.

and that's why there's another name for the trick, and is not said as a combo.  just like tatw.  you can't call tatw, atw nt crossover because u can do atw nt crossover without making it a tatw.
