• During Round 2 Intermediate each freestyler must include in their routine:
(example video will be provided after results of Round 1 are published)

- 3 consecutives ATW
- ATW HTW
- Cross over ATW
- 3 other lower tricks
- Head Stall - Nose Stall – Head Stall
- Head Stall – Side Head Stall – Head Stall
- 2 more stalls (for example sole stall, shin stall. Neck stall is not valid…be creative)
- Sitdows (minimum 20 seconds)

Freestylers can include extra tricks but the above rules must be respected otherwise it is an automatic elimination.

These are rules required in an upcoming freestyle competition a friend of mine is entering. I think this is absolutely ridiculous. You must do these tricks? WTF? I thought this was "freestyle" meaning you are free to choose the style of tricks and skills you want. This is something I'd like to see removed from the sport. Setting a standard type of tricks that must be done to be a freestyler. I have no problems with doing lowers, uppers, sits, or grounds specific competitions. I actually think a transitions competition maybe interesting. I just really don't like the, you must do atw, atw, htw combo. Why? If I can do something better than that, why can't I? If I can do a high level video without using any of the tricks listed, why can't I? There are some high level freestylers that can get excluded or highly limited by rulings like this. Ridiculous rule.

And these rules are actually shit  it limits the potential of a freestyler who can actually do way better

I can see this being decent if you do a competition where you are trying to push your beginners, but to actually have a freestyle comp and require people to do all that makes 0 sense.

I mean, if it was a loose guidelines of what you need to be able to do to be a particular level, it kind of makes sense. Now, this is no genuine rule of thumb. There are far too many styles and great freestylers from unusual styles that this is just plain stupid. This will only make the competition boring as the majority of all videos will be the video. Also, everyone learns freestyle differently. They maybe advanced in one area, but they struggle with one of the tricks mentioned. They are disqualified for this.
