Dribble like Lionel Messi: Noblet Street Soccer Drills

Some good drills to do for any footballer or futsal player. The better you get, the faster you can move through the cones. Also, you can put the cones closer together to make it more challenging. Always look to accelerate out of the the last cone to simulate accelerating past a defender.

are you left or right footed? because your shooting looks weird sometimes on both sides imo.

I'm left footed. How exactly does my shooting look weird? Shooting wasn't really the focus of the video, so I wasn't worried about it as much. I was only really worried about the dribbling drill. I'll be the 1st to admit a couple of the shots weren't perfect. I saw 2 right footed shots that I considered somewhat poor and the one left footed  shot that hit the cross bar which I should easily score.

yes i know that this video isn't about accurate shooting, and i also don't criticize the accuracy of the shots, but the last shot for example didn't look very smooth, the way you sorted your feet out, it looked as if the ball was too far away by the time you took the shot.

It doesn't really matter, but from what you tell about yourself having played on quite a high level, i thought your shots would look more developed. Maybe it looked that way because you tried to run fast and took the shots quickly.

The last shot probably looked that way, because I was shooting a bit across my body. If you notice the ball is going diagonally away from the goal. The end shot looked fine as it went across the goal with power, and that is what would matter in a game.

Also, you are right about me running and shooting quickly. The idea is that I am to explode out of the cones and shoot quickly. This is realistic to beating a player 1v1 and shooting. I personally think I have quite good shooting technique. Some of it also probably has to do with the shot being far way from the camera. You can't really see what I'm doing that well.

The point was dribbling, so that's all I care about really in this video. I plan on doing a proper shooting video soon.
