I think his bad knees have really set him back. He doesn't have the same speed or cutting ability. Without those two, he falls into a class of pretty good players, but not game changers.
I hope he can stay healthy for a full year so he can regain his fitness. Nobody except Kaka and the physios know how his knees really feel. That's the biggest question. He's getting more regular minutes now, so he'll get his chance and confidence if he can stay healthy and feeling good.
Who knows if he's playing at 80% or 98% right now though.
