How do you think he will fare amongst quality mid-fielders or wingers like messi, xavi, iniesta, and pedro?
do you think he might get a place at the first 11?

starting 11?? absolutely....not!! He is a very good player but i think pedro and villa are his direct competition for a starting place and i think they are both better than him.
Although he is not far behind pedro in terms of quality so given time, who knows, pedro may be relegated to benchwarming duties. I still cant believe barca got such a quality player for 3 million euro. 
I feel sorry for bojan. I think his barca days are numbered. But at least bojan will finally get the playing time he deserves at some other team. He is probably still pulling splinters from his ass after warming the cold hard barca bench for so long.

Afellay is a fantastic player, and I can see him breaking the Barca 11 within a year or two on the basis of three things
1. He is given time to play
2. He resumes playing as he did at PSV, which was fantastic
3. Pep finds a) a place to play him and b) someone to take off the field

just wanted to leave this fantastic goal he did at some training a while ago...

as from me... I think he will have a place into the 11, or at least into the 16 in barca for sure! I would never have thought of di maria beeing as good as he is right now at real madrid... I would never thought that he would be in the first 11 altough he was the benfica superstar and a great promise, so I dont find any reason for affley to fail in barca, because the situation is quite similar... I think he is fantastic, and capable of carrying that "heavy" barca t shirt.
