good taste man. its rare to find people on here like that. i especially like how you included the album fates by erik mongrain. brilliant guitarist he is. i haven't heard the entire album, but i've listened to everything he has on his website and youtube. brilliantly technical and musical.
yeah fates is better than equilibrium I think
the only way I got a hold of them was through torrenting

If you like Mongrain, you'll love Preston Reed
technically, I think he's faster but less inventive

Check out Candyrat records, they have all the great fingerstyle artists associated with them, and lots of good slide guitarists, electric guitarists, and singer-songwriters as well

i really love that type of music myself as well. i first got into it from the justin king craze on youtube a few years back, but i've found many more after that. my favorites right now are mongrain and antoine d'ufoure.

no need to argue with people who dream of blowing pawel skora. they will never cease to say that skora is far better than everyone else until they have shoved at least one of his balls down their throat.
You just can't prove it, prove your phrase 'there are some people who are close to skora's lowers'

fine, azun and szymo are extremely close if not as good as skora at lowers. can skora do things like apatw, ptatw, patw inside and outside, paatw, and pmatw. just being able to do those tricks which skora is definitely not as good at as them, makes them pretty much on the same level as skora's lowers.  remember skora has only shown the one patw, and it was kind of ugly in comparison.  leha, just get on you knees and open your mouth, because the only thing you have shown to your life being good is to suck cock. one day, you might meet skora, and i recommend you just do this, because that is the only thing you are good at.

oli this is why you don't have many fans on this forum. i know that you are a good freestyler, and you do have alot of knowledge in the sport. the problem is that you have an extreme biast for one style.  there are always an extreme in some way that you can push any style.  there are uppers and sits that are definitely the same level as skora's lowers. also, there are some people who are close to skora's lowers standards in the likes of azun and syzmo, who are both much better freestylers than skora by their all-around freestyle quality.

Skora has not trained as long or as hard as abdullah
Definately not longer but definately harder. Lowers take a lot more energy than sit downs and that's a fact.

who cares. that has nothing to do with the point. styles are equal. i would also argue that abdullah does practice harder than skora, because abdullah does longer hours since he is performing for a living. when he performs i'd say he is out there for 5 or more hours at a time. this makes up for any more physical stress that lowers causes. skora is a great freestyler, but to say he is better than a legend like abdullah is a crime.

leha- if you are saying arthur's sits and uppers are better than skora's sits and uppers i would say you are correct. yes, skora's lowers were better than arthur's. the judging shouldn't have been done on just one style though, but the entire video. on basis of entire performance in the vidoes, arthur wins. he showed to be an extremely high level and provided more all-around quality than skora.
I know that I'm right, otherwise I wouldn't say that. But see the difference, Skora's lowers are way on higher level than Arthur's allround minus Skora's sits and uppers

just curious, what are all-around skills of skora's minus his sits and uppers? is that his lowers? you just can't comprehend anything than what your biast mind thinks. i'm done arguing. skora is a great freestyler, but on the day arthur was better. i'm ending it on that.

congratulations to skora for becoming 2xs reigning champion on BF by having millions of worshipers wishing to orally please him, and having a the freestyle administrator be a worshiper as well. arthur blew skora out of the water. arthur's uppers and sits were way better than skora's. yes its arguable that skora's lowers were better than arthurs more so than individually arthurs's sits or uppers, but the combinations of the two makes arthur the one who should have won.  also to ars who said that skora's lowers are far more difficult than any sits or uppers tricks done by anyone else. you are a fucking idiot. there is always and extreme hardcore way to go in all styles. best example recently would be luki's  latm. thats easily as hard as anything skora's doing.  all styles are equal, and the best freestylers are the ones who try to be the best at all of them. also grounds need more respect. grounds are an important part, but most people ignore them.  just curious oli, did you vote for skora on the redsforlife's poll. my bet says that you did.
All the styles can't be equal - did you see any fser who has been training uppers for 5 years as hard as Skora has been training lowers? Simpliest example...

One close example - Mikael Ivanov .
5 years? As hard as Skora lowers?

better example uppers dan magness. his upper control is just as good as skora's crazy lowers.  sits abdullah his sits are probably better than skora's lowers. look beyond stupid biast. you are just another skora worshiper. grow up and notice there's more than lowers.
The level of Mikael uppers or Abdullah sits are about the level of tatw amatw nt in lowers...

i'm definitely no more of a noob than you are. yes, mikael's uppers are not on the level of skora' lowers, but abdullah's sits and dan magness's uppers definitely are.  sure, plenty of people will learn latm soon just because its an uppers trick, not a lowers trick. i respect skora, but i do not like many of his fans. he definitely deserved to finish near the top, but arthur was better in this vid.  how many people are doing the level of sitdowns of abdullah. there's probably more people doing patws and skora atws. i know skora can do more than this, but abdullah can do crazy things too. for uppers, how many people can ride a bike doing top head stall? how many people can do sitdowns while doing top head stall? the answer is only dan magness. all styles equal. if you think otherwise, you are definitely the noob.  even ground moves have more and more extremes it can be pushed to. there are ground moves as amazing as any skora combos, its just all different.
