Barca were better today. But i look forward to the next clasico because nuri sahin will be back to full fitness and he will strenghten madrid.

One complaint is mourinho should have played three defensive midfielders. Iniesta and xavi had too much space.

barca 3-1

nice prediction :great:
forget Ronaldinho....only one deserves the -inho suffix......Jabarinho!!!!

Nice activity on the thread boys.  Let's keep things rolling around here.

Real Madrid was good in the first half.  They did a nice job pressing Barca and limiting their posession.  Xavi wasn't moving the ball around as easily as he normally does.

Second half was different.  Barca got on the ball and starting wearing out Madrid.  Madrid players lost their had and starting lunging into tackles.  I'm surprised they didn't get a red at some point.  They need to find a way to control their anger once they go down in the game.

The other problem for Madrid is their lack of posession out of the back.  Their center back and full backs don't know how to possess the ball.  Barca is the opposite.  Pique does a brilliant job passing out of the back and finding his center mids.  Madrid needs to work on this in order to better control the pace of the game.

Ronaldo was bad.  He should've iced the game at 2:0 but messed up.  Besides his two chances, he was invisible.  This is what I hate about Mourinho and how he uses him.  He is NOT involved in any of the build up play.  Terrible...

I didnt see any angry tackles from madrid. Sergio Ramos made only one lunging tackle but that was it. The other tackles were, ummmm......beefy  but they went for the ball. Some other tackles were to break up barca's rhythm, which is important if u want to beat barca :victory:

I agree with most of your analysis though Adi. I thought iniesta and puyol would be still recovering from injury but they ended up being barca's 2 best players on the night.

Actually two best were Iniesta and Alexis.
