Freestyle Tricks Described ()
Description:
Short descriptions of popular freestyle moves, which you can use for your future soccer trick clips.

Explanation:
If you ever wanted to know the names of some of the most popular freestyle tricks then this is the tutorial for you. You may also use the tips in the short descriptions to help you learn the tricks.

Juggle - this is your fundamental juggling technique. The ball is struck not through the center but in the front. This makes it spin vertically, inward thus keeping it close to your body.

Instep Juggle - advanced version of the standard juggle. You hit the ball with the instep so that it lifts up without spinning.

Thigh - if executed properly, hitting the ball with the thigh should lift the ball straight up, not forward.

Crossover - popular trick among "hacky sack" enthusiasts. The crossover move is fairly simple and its secret lies in jumping at the right moment, when the ball is dropping.

Backheel - it is easy to throw in a backheel juggle now and then, but more advanced freestylers can do it consistently. A former coach of Zidane confirmed that he can backheel juggle for hours while barefoot!

Jester - this trick consists of two parts. First, you let the ball drop between your feet. As it comes down, you plant your right foot in front of the ball and clip it upward with the other foot.

Dislocated knee - this is similar to the standard Thigh juggle, but instead of raising your thigh you extend your entire leg. This will produce a curl on the ball as it hits your thigh.

Hotstepper - strike the ball downward, using the sole of your foot and it should bounce straight up. Simultaneously move the other foot forward so you can hit it again.

Shoulder - maintaining control of the ball with this technique is difficult. An important thing to remember is not to merely let the ball hit your shoulder - you're supposed to strike it back.

Head - turn your head up so that your forehead is parallel to the ground. Also make sure that you are shuffling your feet in order to keep your forehead directly under the ball and so you won't have to lean sideways.
