Home phones are getting better technology, like sending videos from your home phone to people, and receiving text messages that will be read out loud to you by an operator.

Those 2 technologies are already out.

I believe you can send videos in the U.S. with T-Mobile and special phone. Me and my buddies already play around with the Text to Landline phone thing, it swears and everything. ;)
