i had this exact problem 2 years ago
first play of the match i sprinted to close down the defence, heard and felt a pop on the side of my hip, it was a pulled muscle i couldnt walk up the stairs for around a week and couldnt play football or run for about a month or more...
i hope urs isnt as bad but id say it is
go to a physio!
