I feel that evolution was made by ppl who just can't comprehend that there is a God. so they just HAD to make up some stupid theory of how humans came into existence
Yeah, we just didn't see the logic that someone, out of the blue, created us in 6 days.

It's quite the contrary; religion is a way for you numbnuts to explain what you wern't able to explain 2000 years ago. Times have changed and we can explain things logicaly now. So move on and stop living brainwashed by some old book some random guys made thousands of years ago.

Humans didn't evolve from apes. They evolved from a creature that neither was a man nor ape, that evolved to a human and apes. So we're related to apes. Studies have proven creatures evolving all the time, so you don't need to be a brainwiz to look at it backwards and see how we looked back then (fossils tell us).

And my god. Darwin lived like ages ago and our knowledge has improved much since. So what Darwin claimed is NOT final, he just grounded the theory.

Laugh is all i can do at the moment.
Yeah and laugh is what I will do when I found out you're dead because before you die you will think about the 100 virgins waiting for you in the heaven of allah or w/e
and laugh is what we'll do looking at oLi in hell trying to satisfy his hunger by eating the bark of a thorny tree and trying to run away but hell pulls him back. yeah keep laughing at truth, in the end the truthful will laugh at you
100 virgins?
you are retaarrd?
if we become Muslim just to have women after death then you're not Muslim. intention counts more than action. so... all of you who think that Muslim men are muslims just to have virgins after death are brainwashed FOOLS. yeah oLi, FOOLSSS!
we don't do it for the women, we believe because we know it's the truth. not virgins...

Proof? Looks like you're the one who's brainwashed. Tell me, what has Allah given you and what has science given you? Most of the things you use daily came from science. Religion has always hindered the human progress. And it succeded, thanks to the ones like you.

like for instance, women had the right to vote more than 1400 years ago. when did women have the right to vote in the west? what? 50/60 years ago?

if you examine the timeline for modern women's suffrage, you will find that they're all generally w/i +/- 50-100 years of each other.  i'm sure that both sides could cite esoteric, ancient examples

Quote
table manners as in, don't reach over the table to grab some food
eating as in don't talk/laugh while eating/chewing coz of the risk of choking
how to clean yourself when you're in the bathroom
not pee then zip your pants up
wash the sausage and stuff

but what does that necessarily prove?  do the tell you to eat using the utensils set from the outside-in as well?  can you eat w/your elbows on the table?  can you put them on the table after you're finished eating?

Quote
apes learned how to communicate by making words and thought of washing themselves and how to eat on a plate with a fork and spoon/knife while they left their brethren to look like a bunch of ignorant animals

i almost see where you're going with this (not that i agree with it), but there are animals w/i the hominid family that are not human that exhibit these EXACT traits.  they use tools.  they communicate through language/have a capacity for language.  they wash themselves.  fuck, even cats and dogs wash themselves.

oh so now it's ok to believe in god of buddhism?

not going either way w/this, but buddhism generally doesn't have an absolute creator

its 'fact' with the technology we have. just like it many MANY years ago, it was a 'fact' that the earth was flat. i hope u understand wat im saying

yes, but evolution is supported w/physical observations.  witchcraft and astrology were considered to be fact as well...w/no physical observations beyond the incidence itself (similarly to the earth being flat).  would you agree that the earth is round?  beyond 99%?

yea...there r pictures that i assume r legit. but whose to say that one day we mite have the technology to observe God in some way?
but there was physical observations that made ppl think that the world was flat, no? im sure they didnt just pull it out of there arses.

yeah, it was poor wording on my part.  i've had too much jaeger/a few too many beers

it was good insight for their spheres of influence, but we've come to the point to where we've seen pretty much all we need to see of the world to make that determination.  we've gotten to that point w/evolution.  your quote could probably be better put towards the mechanisms behind evolution/evolutionary history

People never really thought the world was flat they thought it was a multitude of different shapes, christopher columbus believed it was pear shaped.
Quote
Since around the 4th century BC, almost no one, anywhere, has believed that the earth is flat. However, if you did want to show the earth as a flattened sphere, you'd end up with something very similar to the United Nations flag.

Belief in a flat Earth by anyone at all – at least since pre-classical times – may not even have actually originated until the 19th century. The guilty text was Washington Irving’s semi-fictional The Life and Voyages of Christopher Columbus (1828) which, incorrectly, suggests that Columbus’s voyage was made to prove the world was round.

At the same time, the eccentric Englishman, Samuel Birley Rowbotham helped re-establishing the idea. After research on the Old Bedford Level in 1838, he published a 16 page paper hopefully titled: 'Zetetic Astronomy: A Description of Several Experiments which Prove that the Surface of the Sea Is a Perfect Plane and that the Earth Is Not a Globe' (‘Zetetic’ derives from the Greek zetein, meaning ‘to search, or inquire’).

More than a century later an eccentric member of the Royal Astronomical Society and devout Christian called Samuel Shenton re-branded the Universal Zetetic Society as the International Flat Earth Society.

The NASA space programme of the 1960s, culminating in the lunar landings, should have buried the issue. But Shenton was undeterred. Looking at photographs of a spherical earth taken from space he commented: ‘It’s easy to see how a photograph like that could fool the untrained eye.’ The Apollo landings were, apparently, a Hollywood hoax, scripted by Arthur C Clarke. Membership shot up.

Shenton died in 1971 but not before choosing his successor as President of the Society. The odd but charismatic Charles K Johnson took over and made the Society a rallying point for a heroic, homespun ‘anti-Big Science’ movement. By the early 1990s, membership had surged to over 3,500.

Johnson, who lived and worked in the vast flatness of the Mojave desert, proposed a world in which we live on a disc, with the North Pole at its centre, surrounded by a 150ft high perimeter wall of ice. The sun and moon are both 32 miles in diameter, and the stars are ‘about as far away as San Francisco is from Boston’.

Johnson’s desert hideaway burnt down in 1995, destroying all the Society’s archives and membership lists. Johnson died in 2001, having only managed to rebuild the Society to a few hundred members. It exists today solely as a web forum, www.theflatearthsociety.org, with over 800 registered users.

china, mesopotamia, pre-classical greece, etc. all had some form of a "flat earth"

Isnt religion a gamble? God could be real, but then again, maybe not.

Bloody waste of time.

yes it is. theres a chance for both, so y not spend 3mins a week praying(which i probelly do less than that now)
even if theres such a small chance, id rather have wasted such a small time than be sorry later on.
