well I surmise you went to college on a soccer scholarship, because normally tuition at american colleges is ~40 000 $ a year. As you advance in graduate school, you'll be able to do some TAing to make some money back (I know these things because my parents are both university professors and therefore went through this themselves)

i would imagine that even without a soccer scholarship, adi (as an in-state student at a public university) would have paid much less than 20k a year for tuition and fees
