I recently have started to do a few easy sitdowncombos as warm-up actually.
I must say that it works really great and isn't as boring as stretching and stuff like that I think.

I use to be the same way and my advice to you is WARM UP!!
I had some injuries that completely screwed me over and seriously hindered my progress in lower combos.
Now I do some light stretches (especially in problem areas), then dynamic stretches (like kick your leg up higher and higher until it's well above your head), then I start juggling while throwing in a few easier tricks, slowly increase the difficulty, and finally I'm ready to go.

To learn to succeed, you must first learn to fail.
You can't know where you're going without good goals.
It's what you do that counts, but it's how you do it which separates you from the rest.
You can't have creativity unless you leave behind the bounded, the fixed, all the rules

On time i met Yoacim and had a really bad technique on tatw, i tried tatw (really stupid) and stretched my leg so i couldn't freestyle for rest of the week. I always warm up now. I try some atw-hatw combos so i can get warm and i do them fast so i get quicker warm.

I like to start by stretching my grone muscles and hamstring and calf muscles, I then often go on a 5 minute jog, which brings your heart rate up. I also after jogging go to where i freestyle and do ankle stretches, then start boncing from one foot to another to get used to the tempo and rythm of freestyle. Then its time to bust out some hardcore shizzzle.
