Why is it so hard to understand that atoms are not visible? Have you not gone to school? Do you not have books to read about atoms, Tito?
Fool i know an atom (center of science) isn't visible. If you claim Allah doesn't exist because He isn't visible than what the fuck is an atom!
RETARD

Preaching science? You can't really do that. You can only point to concrete evidence. I don't consider the evidence you are pointing to me about the Quran as concrete; there is absolutely no way to prove that these words are indeed the words of God. If it was so clear cut, i'm sure everyone would be a Muslim.
One thing that you people constantly over look is that Quran is all facts. Many before you and many better than you have attempted but FAILED. Disprove anything in the Quran and i will agree with your every word. What i am doing is showing that the Quran is flawless thus can't be something made by man, while science on the other hand is filled with flaws, theories and errors.

If comparing the two and stating facts is preaching under a rock i got nothing to say to you apes.
If evolution is real you fools obviously haven't evolved.

Aha, I've caught you out at last, you hypocritical sheep:

You've equated an infinite and all-encompassing being (Allah, god, what have you) with the meanest piece of physical material on the face of this earth. A demeaning anthropmorphism if I've ever seen one. In addition, no book can encompass the nature of an infinite, all-encompassing being without the use of anthropomorphism (both the bible and the quran do it. Even saying that He cannot be enbcompassed is an anthropomorphism), thereby rendering any holy text a misrepresentation of what is truly being worshipped, because such a book, which was clearly written (by whom I know not, be it god or man, though I'd say man) to be read by human beings, is essentially a distortion of the religious truth you seek. Many Islamic and Jewish thinkers have come across this problem, acknowledged it as very daunting, and were only ever able to offer allegorical solutions. An example of a Jewish thinker who encountered this issue: Maimonides. An example of an Islamic thinker who encountered that selfsame issue: Averroes (muslim name was Ibn Rushd, I think).

So yeah

No. They are based on two different things. Religion isn't based on fact, it's based on faith. Science is based on what we as humans call a fact, which is something that can be readily determinable and proven. Again, a lot of science is "implied" [e.g. 2x+2 = 6, the x would equal 4]

@ tito: i believe in god. and it's funny, because i've never claimed Allah doesn't exist because he isn't visible.

oh and i do have one question; why is it that Allah refers to the earth as a bed, and as a carpet spread out? last i checked, beds and carpets where rectangular and flat.

That could mean the surface of the earth, the quran is written in arabic and some words are almost immposible to translate,

there are many different translations of the quran with slight differences

well first off take elite's example of the earth as Allah's bed, or whatever....that is blatant anthropomorphism, which trivializes the human perception of an all-encompassing deity. Nothing in what I wrote up there is meaningless. I can guarantee that you dismissed it because you weren't entirely sure what the relationship between anthropomorphism and allegory is. There is a clear argument being presented, and since when has Averroes been irrelevant to the Muslim faith  :saywhat: He was probably the most important thinker of the Middle Ages, which was the golden age of Islam intellectually and culturally.

This is one of many reasons I don't give a fuck about your posts on this topic.

I worship Allah. I don't care about Averroes no one really does.

Hes about as relevant as the theory of evolution.  :hello:
