yea ppl do that shit with nostradaumus too.  and we know nostradaumus wasn't actually predicting the future, it's just how some ppl interpreted his texts.

can you see it? ( I'll answer that) NO

does allah exist?
Yes
Can you see Him, No

So if you say Allah isn't real then what case do you have that suggests an Atom is real?

On another note Science is way behind the Quran
As in that article (link) i posted earlier

Quote
ATOMIC ENERGY AND FISSION

Allah splits the seed and kernel. He brings forth the living from the dead, and produces the dead out of the living. That is Allah, so how are you misguided? (Qur'an, 6:95)

The terms "seed" (al-habb) and "kernel" (an-nawa) in the above verse may indicate the splitting of the atom. Indeed, the dictionary meanings of an-nawa include "nucleus, centre, atomic nucleus." Furthermore, the description of bringing forth the living from the dead can be interpreted as Allah creating matter from dead energy. Producing the dead out of the living may refer to energy (dead) emerging from matter (living), since the atom is in motion. (Allah knows best.) That is because as well as "living," al-hayy can also mean "active, energetic." With its meaning of "non-living," al-mayyit, translated above as "dead," may very probably refer to energy.

Scientists define energy as the capacity for doing work. Matter, the material that comprises all things on Earth and in the universe, consists of atoms and molecules that can be seen to be in motion under an electron microscope. In the early twentieth century, Albert Einstein (d. 1955) theorised that matter could be converted into energy, suggesting that the two were inter-related at the atomic level.199 This may be the bringing forth of the dead from the living, as described above, or, in other words, obtaining energy from matter, which is in motion at the atomic level. In addition, yukhriju, translated as "bringing forth," also means "bringing out, emitting" (as in the case of electrical waves). Therefore, the terms in this verse may be indicating the form of energy obtained from the atom. (Allah knows best.)

And technology

Quote
THE USE OF ELECTRICITY

And We made a fount of molten copper flow out for him. (Qur'an, 34:12)

One of Allah's great blessings to Prophet Sulayman (as) was "a fount of molten copper." This can be understood in several senses. By the use of melted copper, it may be referring to the existence, at his time, of an advanced technology that employed electricity. We know that copper is one of the best metals for conducting electricity and heat, and thus constitutes the basis of the electrical industry, which uses much of the copper produced in the world. The expression "flow out" may indicate that electricity can be used in many fields. (Allah knows best.)

Quote
MODERN MEANS OF TRANSPORT

And horses, mules, and donkeys both to ride and for adornment. And He creates other things you do not know. (Qur'an, 16:8)

The above verse indicates that in addition to the animals mentioned here, people will have various unknown (to them) means of transport. The following verse points to the fact that there will be such mass modes of transport as ships:

A Sign for them is that We carried their families in the laden ship. And We have created for them the like of it, in which they sail. (Qur'an, 36:41-42)

Man on moon?

Quote
THE EXPLORATION OF SPACE

Humanity's exploration of space was accelerated with the Soviet satellite Sputnik on 4 October 1957, which launch is considered by NASA as the dawn of the “Space Age.” The first man to ever leave the Earth's atmosphere was the Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin who made his space flight in 1961 in Vostok 1 spacecraft. On 20 July 1969, the American astronaut Neil Armstrong became the first human being ever to set foot on the Moon.

In fact, the Qur'an revealed that such developments and achievements would one day be realised. For instance, Allah draws our attention to this in the following verse:

O company of jinn and human beings. If you are able to pierce through the confines of the heavens and Earth, pierce through them. You will not pierce through, except with a clear authority. (Qur'an, 55:33)

The Arabic word sultan, translated here as "a clear authority," has other meanings as well: force, power, sovereignty, dominion, law, path, permission, give leave, justify, and proof.

Careful examination reveals that the above verse emphasizes that humanity will be able to move into the depths of Earth and sky, but only with a superior power. In all likelihood, this superior power is the superior technology employed in the twentieth century, for it enabled scientists to achieve this great feat.

THE VOYAGE TO THE MOON

And [I swear by] the moon when it is full, you will mount up stage by stage! What is the matter with them, that they have no faith? (Qur'an, 84:18-20)

After referring to the Moon, the above verses then say that people will mount up stage by stage. The term tarkabunna comes from the verb rakiba, (to mount, walk on a path, follow, embark upon, set about, participate, or rule). In the light of these meanings, it is very likely that the expression "you will mount up stage by stage" refers to a vehicle to be boarded.

Indeed, the astronauts' spacecraft pass through each layer of the atmosphere one by one, and then begin to pass through the Moon's gravitational field. Thus, the Moon is reached by moving through individual layers. In addition, the swearing by the Moon in Surat al-Inshiqaq 18 further strengthens this emphasis, meaning that the verse may well be a sign that humanity will travel to the Moon. (Allah knows best.)

Tito; you don't apply science on the Quran, you apply contens of the Quran on science that already has been theorized. Without the science we've achieved those extracts wouldn't have been interpretated in that way. The only way the Quran would be ahead of science is if you actually read the Quran and from there made the conclusion that there are atoms and then proved it (before science did so).

The thing with those extracts is that they are heavily interpretated in a way they sound related to science, eventhough I sincerely doubt that were their initial meaning. Unless you show me some undiscovered thing (like the atom) interpretated from the Quran and from that you prove the statement from the Quran scientificly correct, there isn't really anything scientifical about the Quran.

The atom, how do we know it's for real?

We don't, not for sure. Experiments strongly indicates the existance of an atom, but we can never be 100 % sure there's an actual atom there. But that doesn't matter. We just use the atom as an model so things will be easier answered, just as we use gravity to explain why things fall and the movement of the planets.

Evolution isn't something you choose to "believe" in; it's fact. Take maths as an example: let's say you were given the equation 3+x=4. Using some easy logic, you come to the conclusion that x = 1, and that's an definite answer and is not something you choose to believe in.

If you study the Qur'an you will see that the Qur'an does not contradict any established modern scientific fact. This is a true statement. Many have tried to find scientific errors in the Qur'an, but they have failed.

This is what modern science has to say on the topic of zoology, in particular bees. Modern day science tells us that the male bee has only one purpose, and that is to reproduce with the female - there's really no other purpose for a male bee. Now here's the important point - however, the worker bee or the soldier bee is a female bee. She is the one that builds the nest, leaves her home, and goes out in search of food. This what modern science tells us - that we have discovered only recently. Now it takes a specialist in the field to detect the sex of the bee - you cannot look at it from the naked eye - it is impossible, there is no way you can look at it that way. Now let me show you what the Qur'an says about bees. Now, keep one thing in mind here. In the Arabic language, animals are either male or female. Like in English we have the word cow - "the cow in the pasture" - that does not tell us if the cow is male or female. But in Arabic animals are either male or female. There is no gender neutral term for animals. Let's look inside chapter sixteen verse sixty-eight. It says over there:

"and thy Lord taught the bee" (here it is specified a female bee) "to build its cells in hills, on trees, and in men's habitations, then to eat of all the produce and find with skill the spacious paths of its Lord."

This is exactly what modern science today tell us - that the bee that goes out and builds the nest, that goes out looking for food, as what the Qur'an has mentioned, is indeed the female bee.

Quote
IF Statement in the Quran = Scientific fact THEN

(it can be one or more of the following 8 possibilities)

A. Perhaps the author of the statement was a genius.

B. A very good guess, luck.

C. Perhaps the author of the statement was a great scientist

D. Coincidence (ex: a poetic statement which just happened to match
up with science),, and the author had no intention of talking
about science; it was an accident. Coincidence is a form of luck.

E. Common sense (ex: rain causes grass to grow).

F. The scientific fact is observable.

G. The information already pre-existed in history.
(this can only be entertained if we have historical errors)

H. A source greater than man was involved.

So anyway, I'll have to raise a question now. How did the author of the Qur'an know this scientific statement, that the bee that leaves the nest in search of food is the female bee? Let's look at the above quote. Perhaps the author of the Qur'an was a genius or a scientist, which is (A) and (C). Well, I don't think that could be a possibility, because no matter how smart you are, you'll never be able to detect the sex of a bee, unless you had these modern scientific methods which did not exist one thousand four hundred years ago, so those could not be a possibility. Let's look at (F). Perhaps the scientific fact is observable. Well, this is not true either, because you cannot look at the bees and tell which one is a male or female. Let's look at (B). Perhaps it was a very good guess. Well, it is a possibility. If it was a good guess then we'll say it was a fifty-fifty chance, one half chance if that was the case - or coincidence, we can look at it that way. Now let's look at (G) . The information already pre-existed in history, therefore the author of the Qur'an simply plagiarized from another source. That long ago its not possible. So the only solution is (H).

And thats only one small example

Tito; you don't apply science on the Quran, you apply contens of the Quran on science that already has been theorized. Without the science we've achieved those extracts wouldn't have been interpretated in that way. The only way the Quran would be ahead of science is if you actually read the Quran and from there made the conclusion that there are atoms and then proved it (before science did so)
the meaning of them haven't changed
and how could those things even be in something thats over 1400 years old when science recently discovered those.

you ain't the greatest until your most hated

Why is it so hard to understand that atoms are not visible? Have you not gone to school? Do you not have books to read about atoms, Tito?

Preaching science? You can't really do that. You can only point to concrete evidence. I don't consider the evidence you are pointing to me about the Quran as concrete; there is absolutely no way to prove that these words are indeed the words of God. If it was so clear cut, i'm sure everyone would be a Muslim.

But let me guess, everyone else is stupid huh
