an absence of worship does constitute a lack philosophical understanding and direction

it most certainly does not.  worship implies total committment and blind faith to an absolute truth that may or may not be.  worship implies surrendering ones own powers and values and it also implies dependency.

that sounds much more like a lack of philosophical understanding and direction to me.
to not understand divinity and completely disregard theology
to believe that a creature so unique could evolve from another no so developed and primitive
to consider something as precious and irreplaceable life could be an accident
to not be so faithless and assured to mad made science
etc

sounds much more like a lack of philosophical understanding and direction

an absence of worship does constitute a lack philosophical understanding and direction

so, an absence of commiting yourself 100% to something that may not be true (but of course is only by faith) is true philosophical understanding?

you're a slave to something you can't prove, but only rely on faith to believe in. nothing wrong with faith and belief, but when you say worship, you are implying complete and total complience with the divine.
To go along with what another man creates and implies as fact sound much better

 Evolution is such a joke aint it

You are all saying we evolved from something, but wattabout everything else. If evolution is true, we woulda evolved and branched off from the same thing as plants, making us related to them. Rocks being unliving doesnt mean nothing, they woulda had to come from somewhere aswell, they woulda had to evolve from something. This also includes water, air...etc.

When you say it like this it does sound like a joke, cuz the biology books only cover shit on where humans came from. What about everything else in this world?

i don't really believe in the big bang because of the perfection of our world, etc. i agree with this much. but you are making yourself sound foolish.

we "come" from ribosomoly similar bacteria billions of years ago. the way i see it, honestly, is that our designer created the world and just let it spin.

of course, just because we have similar bone structure, etc. doesn't really prove anything. it's more of an inference. because if there is a god, he may have just wanted to make everything "similar"

so either way, we'll never know. but at least educate yourself about science before you talk about it

This year will be my first year of Medical Science in uni

Okay kiddo
Have you or you scientist ever captured an ape and waited until they evolved into humans
i don't think so

the fact we have some things in common doesn't mean that we evolved from them
why makes you say they haven't evolved from us

make a valid statement child and stop continuously saying such open ended things
WHEN YOU OR YOUR PEOPLE (as you keep saying we) ACTUALLY EXPERIENCE EVOLUTION THEN COME TO ME AND SAY SO

i could say the same to you idiots.  there is even less proof the world is 6000 years old, or that we just got here just as we were from the beginning of time.

religion is arrogant and claims absolute truths blindly.

science is humble and what it doesn't know, it doesn't claim to know.
Go ahead start worshiping Human they seem to know all

worshipping anything is the first problem.

And your not worshipping evolution? The way your so eager and quick to defend it demonstrates that you are.
Mr. T once fought superman over a bet to see who was stronger. The loser had to wear their underwear on the outside of their clothes.

we are not that unique.  if you understood anything about what we are u would not say that.  and the word primitive shouldn't carry the negative connotations you imply.

i never said it was an accident.  science never says it was an accident.  nobody said that.

and for ur information, all religious beliefs are also man made, therefore imperfect.

but religious beliefs are extremely arrogant and dogmatic.  it doesn't have any flexibility.

science isn't a thing, but a process.  it is a study of.  what we don't know, we don't know.  what we might know, we might know.  what we know, we know.

unlike some things i know that thinks it knows what it doesn't know.

i wouldn't be so narrowminded as to worship anything.  and i don't have to defend it for it to be true.

Primitive: very simple in design: crudely simple in design or construction

i never said it was an accident.  science never says it was an accident.  nobody said that.
So whats the Big Bang theory

Wait up son not all

this is why a lot of forums don't allow these types of discussions.  it attracts all the biggest idiots that have no clue what they're talking about, like you.

argument over indeed, i've wasted way too much time on this shit.  you believe what you want, i believe what i want.  done deal.

So whats the Big Bang theory

just as the name implies, it's a theory...it means that we are trying to find the answers of how the earth and the universe was formed. now, i don't really believe in it, but i think its a bit rediculous to disrespect the fact that we are trying to find the answers.

@ tito:

Evolution has a lot of holes in it. At the same time, it has plenty of answers as well. If you can believe in the quaran, which is just a book written by who knows, then why is it so hard to accept some scientific facts? let me guess, it's propaganda
