Do you have anything against being called aussie? Or do you have anything against australians?

I got nothing against no one. Its just annoying that people complain about immigrants not integrating, its a free country why the fuck do they care what goes on in my home.

Anyway have you seen that new movie Australia? I haven't seen it yet what is it like, I heard they put down Aboriginals big time.

yeah i hate this shit with intigration.

my somali pride i will not hide, it's that simple

Ive heard about the movie, i dont think they put aboriginals down in it. I was watchin this show, where Hugh was interviewed, and he was talking about the stolen generation, and how much he learnt about it from the film. And how the main person in the film is an aborginal boy. So yeah.....

Anyways i agree with you when you say its not up to others to make different nationalities intergrate with the australian culture. Thats what makes australia, australia. Its multicultural.

You having friends from other backgrounds is all the integration thats needed. It doesnt mean you have to give up your somalian background, and it doesnt mean you have to call urself australian when someone asks you where your from. Theres nothing wrong with integrating. And it dont mean you have to hide your pride for your country. No one is saying that.

What he means its silly here in the uk cause the were gonna ban the english flag or something so it doesnt offend the ethnic minority.

Same here in norway aswell.
The immigrants seize their oppertuneties everywhere in this wellfare country of mine.
Social services pay so much god dam money to to much ppl, both norwegians and fereigners. It's enough to say you broke your litle to be on this service for the rest of you life. That easy. Ppl acrosse the globe, most from africa hear about this from the ones allready immigrated to this country and also want to immigrate over here beacuse of the welfare. what i don't like is that ppl like me have to pay taxes so ppl who takes advanteges from the walfare gets my money for being god dam lazy.

Like this years 17 of may wich is our national day. There where this massive debate about ppl can use flags from there own nation walking through streets celebrating and stuff. Whats up with this? The one day this nation has it's birthday you need to wave with another flag than the norwegian. Why can not this day be for the nation we built and celebrate this, this is norway day.
massive debate around this.

See it as it is,- yes we have an immigration politic.
We have room for generousety.
We should respect religions and everyone is equal, but in the end the immigrants are coming to our country and need to follow this nation rules and system. I actually think is is quite rude to behave like many foreigners do. Talking about crime, advantage from welfare generally aggresivety towards the norwegian ppl and so on.

With this being said i do have many foreign friends and all of them are good harted.
I just think it's wrong for immigrants to come over and change our country policy and use it to there advantage beacuse we are a rich country.

Hope you guys know what i mean,- iam being no racist at all.
But this is how it is in norway.

Just because I live in your country you expect me to suck up to you? Keep dreaming. Not many have got a problem, I notice the ones who complain about immigrants are the ones who see an immigrant thats more successful than they are, in their own country. They worked hard for it, no need to be envious, plus only reason we are allowed to stay is because you need us more than we need you. I can choose to live anywhere I like it all depends on money, so don't act like anyone is doing me a favor. As soon as my country is back to normal I'm going back why should I appreciate anything.

my opinion is...

i think everybody has the right to be proud of their background, and they should be respected for it... however you should feel very obliged to respect your home country (australia), if you live here your using the land and its resources, and you should appreciate that...

you dont need to call yourself fully australian, but you shouldnt completely disregard the nationality... why do you think the cronulla riots started lol

i know it would be difficult, if i were to move to another country (to live there for life) adopting their name would be tough, but i would do it
along with calling myself australian...

may i ask, do you have something against being considered an australian? if so, what?

Dog, I never said I had a problem. My only problem is people who can't understand why some don't want to integrate.

yes it is rong. if u live here for 8 years, this is ur country. if u got the passport, ur australian. start calling urself australian with a [country]background
Sorry man, but this doesn't make much sense. I can call myself Mongolian if I wanted to. It all up to the person at the end of the day.
