Match of the Week: FC Bayern vs. TSG Hoffenheim [P+R]

All of Germany and half of Europe will be watching this highly anticipated Bundesliga game. It is the biggest game of the year in Germany.

It is David vs Goliath. Hoffenheim is sitting in 1st place, 3 points ahead of Bayern who is currently in second.

I think this will be a 3-2 or 4-2 win for Bayern Munich. We should see some attractive attacking football. Look out for the two Bosnians: Ibisevic and Salihovic. Ibisevic has 17 goals in 15 games. The second leading scorer in Germany has 11.

I`m from Germany and i`m a supporter of Bayern Munich. I hope Bayern will win this match.
But Hoffenheim plays a wonderful football and the forwards are amazing.
Vedad Ibisevic has 17 goals. More goals as Luca Toni, Miroslav Klose and Lukus Podolski together.
Hoffenheim´s Demba Ba and Chinedu Obasi are very good too.

But Bayern has Franck Ribery!! :bowdown:

In Germany the match will begin at 8:30 pm. The match is on Friday, not on Saturday.
I think Pacific Time is 9 hours behind, but i`m not sure.

The game is played 1:30 Central US time, 2:30 PST.

Welcome to the forum fellow Bayern fan. I too think that Ribery will be the difference maker. Toni or Klose will be the other big player for Bayern. The one weakness Hoffenheim has is its defense. Hopefully our big fellas can take advantage of that.

just to make the thread intresting....Bayern's defense has been at best IMO. They've really concitrated on attacking football leaving behind the german way of football in the '90's behind
