its good to see ur practising with scout, scouts are underestimated they are really good depending how good you are with them. Your scouting wasnt good lol keep on practising, dont practise on scout maps with low gravity, has to be normal gravity

I fail @ scout for the same reason i fail @ all guns except awp... im not good at aiming for headshots :P

i instinctively go for the body for a more reliable hit, but that slow me down loads :(

n yeh that was just me making my first css movie to go through the motions rather than shhow skill :P i just ran about a deathmatch no scoping ppl with a scout :P

headshotting ppl with scout is so easy once you get the hang of it. First learn how to quick scope, by that i mean, scope then shoot then quickly switch weopons to pistol or knife then back to scout, but it HAS to be done really fast. So scope then less then a second after shoot, then change weapons and get ready for the next shot. Basically do that until your aim is perfect.

Headshotting all you have to do is aim head height all the time. There is a line which runs along where a players head is, keep your mouse at that height (you will know the height once your aim gets good), dont move it up nor down, only side to side when aiming at a person, if you get the feel of always aiming head height you will notice that you constantly get headshots.

Its the same with awps, except you dont have to hit em in the head, but if you practise quickscope with awp and scout, you will find that you have become nearly unstoppable ;)

i can pwn with awp, i can hit the body easy enough, just i usually dont :biggrin:.

and about the headline, i get it, but you have to account for  them moving backwards and forwards changing the line height and thats where i fail.

its not like real life, they will always be head height, unless its some ridicously huge map, which don't really exist.

and btw sput, that fy_iceworld or whatever is the ONLY server you play on rofl.

and yeh i guess your right on rush maps but on anything bigger there is a height difference, espcially when theyre far away and the head is smaller.

practise quickscope with awp ;)

yeah of course, when they move around its harder to hit them, type in your console hud_centre 1 so that you can see the persons name when your cross hair hits him, makes it easier the head height line doesnt change, unless they crouch

if they are much further away, lets say from bombsite A on dust 2, to other side of long, this is where you scope for longer and shoot, not quickscope, with awp you can quick scope from this distance but it takes much practise...with scout though, just scope and shoot (once) cuz it takes two shots to kill the person unless its a headshot, you cant really take that chance because if you miss its alot more shots, unless they have taken damage from other people

if you mean hud_centreid 1, then its already like that. i done a lot of console tweeking recently.
