freestyle helped my soccer

people... i dont know with you but i play soccer and i just started freestyle last week i can already do around the world i can do 3 tipes of around the world 2 when the ball is on your foot and all you do is go around the ball and the other one is where the ball is on your right if you are right footed and you flik the ball and go around the ball with your left foot and my latest one is where you are doing kick ups and you do it i arent masterd it yet but it has completly changed my soccer my touch got better i got control over the ball at all times when im dribling its still nothing like messis control lol but with about another year of freestyle my ball control will be nearly as good as his   :banana: i know it dont come naturally but i play alot of soccer games for my clubs sometimes 2 games a week so i'm getting better thanks to everyone that helped me so far.
can anyone write a little story on hoe freestyle helped improve your soccer and how did you feel like when you did your first freestyle trick.

you 'opposite footed atw' is called htw, or 'hop the world' in case you didn't know. And yeah, fs has helped my soccer.

it helped me a bit i guess with my touch but ive always had a good touch or at least above average

umm cool what division do you play for?

i live in canada so its probably different but i played on a Y-league team for a year be4 i got bumped down for being "small"

jcosta71292 - I will have to say that I'm like you.... I play defense and as far as any ball control or tricks come I was hopeless. I began freestyling and noticed shortly thereafter that I had more confidence with the ball and better control. My best aspect of my game is passing and creating plays (aside from taking the ball away from aspiring strikers haha) - now I can be a threat with my new found confidence - all thanks to freestyle. Now.... don't let me get carried away here.... in NO WAY am I any good at freestylin. I can do a couple tricks and that's it haha (atw mainly).

I would love to learn more ground moves though - shit is SO fun to do while listening to a sick song.

seano IV cool at least it helped someone like me  :banana: that  is nice to hear and for ground moves its easier if you creat  them your selve because i got like 5 ground moves they  are lke a killer but if you use your own imagination to do them you will be fine just  remenber before you go past a player you already need to have on your head what  you are goin to do.

Propa. Ask me about actual ground move tricks....and I will reply with: "I HAVE NO FKN CLUE!" haha. I put the iPod on and set to shuffle and move to the music. I adapt to my surroundings. I don't want to have to think of a trick - well....mainly cause I know none (other than a couple).
