get the half-atw higher than a usual ATW and dont do the motion all at once... when the ball is at its highest point, then swing ur weak foot over it... dont do both movements at once or it is very difficult!

if ur still having trouble try using a balloon to get the motion of the trick correct. then use a size 3 ball. then use a regular ball.
