Player Help
« on: Sep 10, 2008, 11:05: PM »
Just thought of this now

this thread is to post any problems you might have and maybe if anyone else knows the answer they might help. any problem such as their playing troubles, injuries etc.

i'll kick things off
i always get muscle cramps at the back of my hamstring after training and games, it just tightens and i cant flex my knee straight. it is really hourable pain. i almost drowed once when we came back from a match me and my friend went swimming just to chill and my hamsrting tightened and i couldn't kick so i was under the water if it wasn't for my friend i would have been dead.

so does anyone else have this problems or is it just me.

Have you tried stretching after the match? :)

I get groin cramps and it gets all cramps, probably similar to yours. I just let it go away with time.

This is A535, its more or less a cream that you put on your muscles when its cold, wet, rainy, or when they're sore. Its heats them up and does something to the blood circulation I think. My coach told me but I forgot.

This is the magic stick that is a great way to loosen up in the morning (tournaments/early games). All the white things in the middle feel great when your muscles r sore and u dont wanna risk pulling something if u stretch.

I dont know what the magnets are called but they more or less do what the magic stick does for you

Hope that helps

I've heard of the cream, and I should probably look into both it and the magic stick. They'd make some of my more hardcore training a lot easier on the muscles' wear and tear.

The easiest solution is really to stretch your muscles i mean not stretching is just plain laaazy, all athletes hate it but you have to do it if you wanna stay injury and trouble free with regards to your muscles.
