That's exactly what I meant, .. it's so hard in North America to find a good place to go.. like in Malta (near Italy) there are beaches everywhere, so you can go for a walk on the beach at night or something.

Yeah, that's true. Taking a girl out to the movies in North America on your first date is very common and well-accepted. In Germany, for example, doing just that is not a very good move. Your first date should be at your house so it's more personal. Interesting differences in culture.

Yeah, that's probably the most common date among kids my age in North America, where as if you bring a girl over to your house and let her meet your parents is just weird. Malta is very small, so you can easily meet eachother anywhere at any time.. it's pretty cool if you ask me.. where in North America, it's so different, so many bad people out there it's tough to go out at night and have a good time without thinking if you're gonna get jumped or whatnot..
