a question for all the experiences lp'ers... what was ur first LP, where was it and what aged/kind of audience was it for??
how many ppl were there also??
i am thinking about finding a place to do LPs but i dont know where... any suggestions for where i shall do it?
also how i do ask the ppl/company or whatever, to do my LP there.. do i say "hi im a freeestyle footballer,(then explain what it is) and i would lke to do a 5 minute show to entertain ur audience."

I was thinking that maybe i could do an LP at a primary school... i dont know if anyone has done it before but i would imagine that 5-10 year olds would be goobsmacked by something as simple as a tatw or a few consec atws or any kind of sits and uppers.
Also i would like to add that i have freestyled in rundle mall (most popular of the city of adelaide) about 4 or 5 times.

any advice on this would be greatly appreciated
Brendan

Hi Brendan

I suggest you continue performing at the mall and maybe at some crowded streets and try to get the feeling as if its a stage performance I think that will help you. Learn a routine and perform it a couple of times so that you can do it with few or no drops and then you are ready for performing. You dont need to be  very good to impress people with freestyle but in my opinion you should at least be at the level of doing simple sit down combos before performing.

Good luck
Fx blesses himself before a patw combo, Tiernan blesses himself before a neck to sole transition.... but hey thats next generation
I was going to be there...but now I'm not going to be there

wow, someone hacked Olis account !

haha, i agree with him, dont bother doing a tatw unless you can do it 100% coz people dont really think its cool... learn some basic sit combos, sole juggles if you can
fingerpsin, basic uppers etc etc, choose a catchy song that everyone knows and likes

my question is, how i can get the "chance" to do an lp
i mean of course i have shown my moves in front of like 10-20 people while playing soccer with them
but what i ask is, how i get the chance to do an lp on a stage in front of many people
because there won´t just come a man and says "hey, u wanna do an lp?"
or are all ur lps on a stage talent competitions?

show them what you've got. have a video of yourself ready to show them of your skills as well as in person. chances are they haven't seen freestyle before so it will be new and interesting, and that is where the uniqueness factor comes in which if they dont catch onto it, you can tell them that it is eye catching. but to answer your other question, events such as sporting event halftime pregame shows, musical events, festivals, carnivals, talent shows, open on a mall stage, etc.

good luck

My best advice for an lp is remember who your performing for, NON FSERS
this isnt a competition between you and another fser so you dont have to shell out your hardest stuff, in fact, i say dont even try too
only do tricks/combos your 100% confident with, simple things like atw-atw-atw and atw-co-atw is definitly nooby to other fsers, but to people who have never experienced it, its mind blowing

easy uppers are definitly a must, simple things like neck/head/sidehead stalls still do alot, and sole juggling/sole stall helps

the only way to get better at lps and getting a more difficult routine is with practice

my lp's only consist of uppers cause of injuries but im really consistant on harder things,  i usually do aproll-rproll-rproll nps and sideheads. sean upper move is a crowd pleaser and so is fingerspin atw, and spinning sidehead.
hope some of this helped
but the best tip is: YOUR PERFORMING FOR NON FSERS, DON'T GO HARCORE UNLESS YOU DO IT CONSISTANTLY
