I'd rather be like Barca and do both (except this year....they flopped on the trophy winning side of things )

heres my view as previously posted...
i think the "arsenal plays such good football" is a bit overrated. i find it quite annoying how they can play in the first 2/3rds the pitch, but suck dick in the final third. i personally don't find it that entertaining, and don't quite understand why people jump on the aresenal play great 3rd place football bandwagon.

What trophies do Chelsea win?  Man U are the ones winning trophies.  Usually if you play the best football you win trophies.  Unless you're italy....And Arsenal has won their share of trophies.  Just have to bounce back after losing big players.  The young players are gaining experience and I think they'll be closer to challenging for the Premier League.

Don't be a whiner and complain how Arsenal didn't win anything and say they played the best football.

I like Chelsea.  Thus there are some Chelsea fans :booty:

Ok Arsenal have won just as many trophies in the last eight years as Chelsea, and if you go back further they've won a shitload more.  So yes, what trophies?  As far as clubs in England go, Chelsea doesn't have a vast trophy cabinet.

Because the Arsenal of about 5-4 years ago actually played to win and knew how to finish in the final 3rd. Now its seems this Arsenal is looking for the perfect goal. How many games that Arsenal could have easily won last season but they lost. Because they lack execution in front of goal.
Arsenal fell off the moment Vieira departed. And its been Chelsea ever since.

They scored more goals in the premier league than Chelsea it seems.  And they allowed fewer.  They were only two points behind Chelsea.  Doesn't seem like Arsenal did too bad to me.....In fact with those stats they should have been in front of Chelsea... :nopity:

In a season where Chelsea was going under great change. They still shattered Arsenals title hopes at the Bridge. Chelsea went into the final weeks with a real shot at the Prem title. Might I also add two finals Champions league and Carling cup finals. We still had a much better season than Arsenal even tho Chelsea where had a bad season. Don't get me wrong I love how Arsenal play and wouldn't mind seeing them do better next season. But Wengers signings are average for a club competing for major trophies.

Compare Arsenal with Tottenham or Blackburn not Chelsea.  ;)

I still think they have every chance of winning.  He tries to sign the stars of tomorrow rather than the stars that have already established themselves like Chelsea does.  Look at his targets, Nasri this year..Hleb two or three years ago...Adebayor...He's had van persie forever.  He's got a bunch of talented players who may not be the big names, but they can definitely play.  Look at Van Persie now.  Arsenal lost their two big captains but that doesn't mean they haven't been competing for the title every year.  Except two years ago.  They still finished fourth,  which i believe is better than the final third.  They have been in the final fifth of the table

dont compare arsenal and tottenham or blackburn because there is a reason Arsenal is part of the English "Big 4" tottenham's cup win over chelsea this past season has been their only cup since 99

and blackburn...the hell r u talking about?
