Dirk Kuyt came to Liverpool having, for the most part, been playing as a striker for his previous clubs. Last season he played wide in 5 man midfield. Liverpool played the two wide players high though, thus creating a 433 at times. So, no, he was never "hanging around the midfield" as some guy so thoughtfully said. He was playing in a midfield role.

scholes and Simao are not underrated. Simao is overrated and I hate the way he plays...especially his free kicks.

he was underrated to some but he has been a good player for a while. he had a top season for valencia two seasons ago

oh, i knew he was a great player, i actually told thekingnut he would be top goalscorer in euro...but he got me w/ spain...i had picked germany.
