Something I have to mention. Everyone has this idea that the USA is just the pinnacle of women's football atm. I think that's far from the truth. We are still barely scraping by as an elite team, because we had women's football established for so much longer. Other countries have already surpassed us tremendously in terms of technical skills. The rest of the package is soon to come if we don't make some improvements. I don't see any player on the USA WNT using skills like in that Barca video above. Pretty much none of them are that technical of dribblers. We are still relying purely on pace and strength to beat teams. It's working to a point now, but in the future, we are going to be left behind if we don't evolve.
