Groin Injury/PAIN, please help
« on: Oct 03, 2012, 05:57: AM »
Hello,
so I have this hard groin pain on my strong foot side in a while, something like 4 months. It's pretty hard, I can't do long combos, hard explosion tricks(skala, eldo, etc) and even htw - atw motion makes me crazy cuz the pain. Have any of you felt something similar? What was the solution?

I train freestyle 2 days a week and 1 time legs exercises(squats, leg extension, curls, calfs, adduction, abduction etc) which has improved my knee performence from 60 to 100% since I gained upperbody weight, and I stretch almost everyday.

I don't know what to do.. :17:

I stopped freestyling for a week or 2 and the pain was gone for me but ive had people in my team (when I still played normal football) who had pain for months and months because they didnt give it time to heal well enough. . But I would suggest going to some sort of doctor (dnno what country you are from).
I'm a beginner, help me!

Seeing a doctor is the first thing you should do. Most likely you will only need to rest it for a few weeks. You very likely pulled your groin muscle. This means that doing anything that could stretch it will either make it worse or prevent it from healing. Most importantly, see a doctor.
