no fucking way andrew won, no clue why the judges voted for him... all these fs comps are very hard to judge ofc, and plz don't start bitching 'u were not there, you dont know anything'

are u fucking serious? good thing michryc was filmed after the battle.. he was almost crying..

i dont think i m the only one who thinks michryc should ve won..

michryc had better control, style/execution (opposed to andrews unclean 3revs, amatw-aht nt, rollers etc) and that shoe trick he pulled - omfg - thats the battle winner right there
those sole stall variations michryc does are mad hard.. yeah andrew did 3revs .. 3revs are very overrated
some of my michryc's stuff is just out of this world, impossible ... and the last clutch he pulled.. omfg

I really think Michryc should have won. The only thing I can think of that would have made him lose is that he must've repeated the exact same moves in the other battles..even then, one should only judge the current battle as a stand alone thing.

i thought about that.. but i rly doubt that was the case.. actually, i saw nothing new from andrew in this battle (i mean i ve seen all that stuff in other comps before)
speaking of michryc: i never saw that shoe thing (pretty sure he was saving it for the final), and the ending clutch came as a surprise for me..

amazing battle!!    I agree with u, MichRyc should have won, he did some damn sick new stuff...but Andrew was really incredible too, maybe three-revolutions are overrated, but look at that awesome Magellan-transition! The judges might have failed a bit, but congratz to Andrew!!

He didn't. It is first time he used: Kamalio move - sitdown, shoe trick and neckstall - spring - nori clutch.

I prefer Michryc in this as well, but part of that is just style. Drops seem to be about equal. See, I hate this you have to do different stuff in each battle mentality, because they have had so many battles that of course they had to repeat stuff. Was it just easier to notice Michryc's repeated tricks?

I agree with Alex about the shoe stuff at the end being something special as we haven't see anything like that before, so it should be ranked ahead of 3rev tricks. Now, there are still so many people in the community that will value hard lowers combos or tricks above anything that I can see some of the judges still preferring Andrews lowers for that reason.

Overall, I thought Szymo vs Skora last year was a much better battle. Those two had such a ridiculously high level it was insane. What happened to them this year? Did Szymo even go? I haven't heard anyone say anything about him being there.

Szymo was injured, Skora lost to MichRyc in quarterfinals I think.

Anyway, Andrew was my favourite, Im happy he has won. But I feel sorry for MichRyc though...

Very close battle. From what I see here I could give it to both and it just depends where the soft spots for the judges are. Definatly not a huge upset that andrew won. His rounds were absolutly sick aswell.

Skora lost to MichRyc in the semi-final, Szymo was there, but didn't compete due to injury.
