How to train with very limited time (lowers)
« on: Jul 12, 2012, 10:02: AM »
I seriously don't have time on weekdays to fs but on weekends I do, however I don't feel that weekend fsing is enough for me and even on the weekends I'm not fully free (I cannot fs for more than 2 hours).
How can I improve on lowers? For uppers and sits they're not much of a problem for me. I can practice uppers in my room and 40min is enough for my sits.
I have on weekdays maybe 5:30AM to 6:10AM free... the whole day I'm supervising and teaching at school (7:30AM to 4:30PM)
the kids don't leave till like 5:30PM and some of them even at 7:00PM (parents come late because of their work) and after that I don't have much light outside my house and I'm not allowed to fs inside plus I have to check homework assignments and other scheisse... not to mention I'm also studying many things myself (I'm also a student at the same time...)
So, I have that time free only... 5:30AM to 6:10AM. Even though I wake up at around 4:00AM, I have a lot of stuff to do until 5:30 (chores, laundry, clean the school etc... (we're still new and we only have volunteers)).
my level is beginner until now because I've been teaching since 2 years ago so I really haven't had much time to improve
Do you guys have a suggestion for a 40min daily schedule I can follow to improve my lowers even if it is not russian rate?
From Monday to Friday in these 40 mins what can I do to improve my overall air combos?
Don't forget I want to improve both feet and learn as much variation as possible (inside moves and outside moves).
btw, 360 atws, datws, crab ass and all those other "creative" stuff not included. I'm talking about hardcore air combos.
any help would be great.
domu arigatou gozaimas!

idk how will you find it but it's interesting  :098: .... why don't you include fs as a subject i mean half an hour everyday it'll work as breather to kids, you can get some time to train, you can show'em what's fs is all about, kids wills have fun, more importantly FS WILL BE PROMOTED as more and more will get to know it...
i know it would sound dope putting fs into school but think on it maybe it'll work and you won't have to take seperate time for fs you can coach kids and at the same time you can train a lil' bit on your own as well !!!

I plan on teaching the kids too
but I really want to improve in these spare 40 mins of my time.
I don't want to just practice atws and then not improve and that's it.

i say it would be best to have a schedule like this:

10 mins - basic tricks (atws, htws, hatws in long combos, both feet)
5 mins - rest and water break
10 mins - amatw / tatw training. Or some 2 revolution tricks. Focusing on 1 or 2 tricks and trying to combo it.
5 mins - rest and water break
10 mins - try some basic nt combos like tatw - amatw nt (I'm not sure what your level is)

......and there is 40minutes :great: Increase the hardcoreness as you improve.

I suppose a very quick 2 minute warm-up at the start would have to be squeezed in.

Just curious... what are you teaching at school?

Anyway, some training routine from an average improver:
I spend about 10-15 minutes doing basic tricks/combos as a warm up (I usually dont stretch in the beginning, maybe just core muscles) and then I train for x minutes/hours whatever I want to, if I get sick of training ALATWs on my strong foot, I train ALATWs on my weak foot, if I get sick of both, I go train Beck combos...just an example.
And then I end the session with some hardcore stretching for at least 15 minutes.

But I dont feel like Im improving any fast, I would recommend that you listen to Leha only, lol.
"Matheson bases his descriptions of the death experience itself on studies by Elisabeth Kuebler-Ross and Raymond Moody.[6] When reading these accounts, Matheson found that revived suicides told a much more frightening story than anyone else who had near death experiences."

Elementary English (I remember grammar when I'm not on the net so I'm ok ), Arabic, and a Qur'an teacher assistant

Thanks for the replies and thank you very much Jabarinho. I'll try that for now.
But I'm waiting for someone like Leha who can really tell me how to improve technically

I should rephrase the question.
What is the most efficient and effective way to train all-round hardcore lowers in only 40 min for a beginner?

Anyway, i think the best way is to warm up trying to break records on basic tricks. After about 10-15 minutes, start practicing the thing you want to train that day. Try to train the same thing 2-3 days in a row, on the 4th day move on to another aspect of lowers. In the weekend, train both things you did that week. Make sure you land something new every session ;)

yeh if it's a 40 minute session i think you should push really hard during those 10 minutes. If you push hard enough you would be praying for that 5 minute break to come

And everytime the ball rolls away you should run full speed to get it. No time to waste! :great:
