If you could change one thing in freestyle...
« on: Jun 25, 2012, 04:22: PM »
... what would it be?

Just one thing.

I would bring footballers and freestyler closer together, so they can both appreciate one another and work together to help both sports grow.

I would change the way people look at freestyle, so they don't relate us with footballers anymore.

 :iagree:

The whole football vs freestyle thing has always annoyed me. I've also never understood how few people seem to like both. Most of my football friends that I show freestyle love it. Sometimes I think it's the freestylers that need to lighten up a bit. Just ignore the Ronaldinho comparisons. Also, realize that the "can you do that on a pitch?" people are a minority, not all of them.

The mentality. The perception of what FREEstyle is, for freestylers to be more open minded and more accepting to different styles, influences, etc.

To learn to succeed, you must first learn to fail.
It's what you do that counts, but it's how you do it which separates you from the rest.
You can't have creativity unless you leave behind the bounded, the fixed, all the rules.

Couldn't have said it better.
