I'm from Trinidad and Tobago. Two islands, one nation in the Caribbean.
There is a Carnival every year, but in the early hours of the morning of Carnival some of the weirdest shit happens. A event called J'ouvert, and lots of people rub mud, oil and paint all over their bodies and get wild in the streets. Some wear devil costumes and other crazy shit. Scary and nasty, but it's all for fun
Also, our national instrument is the steelpan. It's like a drum made of steel. Finely tuned by expert craftsmen to make a very unique sound. Honestly, I think it sound terrible, but i know many people like it.
