Competition Level Guidelines
« on: Jun 04, 2012, 05:10: AM »
When you want to organize or hold a competition, please use these guidelines according to the competition level:

LOWERS
beginner: up to 15 trick combo; hardest combos/tricks: tatw amatw nt, tatw atatw nt, latw.  Should execute no more than 1 nt move in a combo.

intermediate: 16-35 tricks with at least 12 weak foot of which at least 6 need to be
atw/hatw. then any 3 move nt, almatw/altatw, rsatw/satw/almatw - perhaps your first
3 revolution trick.

advanced: 40+ trick combos with 100% balance on both feet (20/20), 4+ nt, 2+ diferent
3 revolution tricks, almatw/rsatw/satw - nt, at least 4 ahm/aht/al in a combo and 3
in a row of one of them etc...

So it is basically the same thing as before? :017: I thought you were going to change it to make it more fair for early beginners. With these guidelines there will be the same issues as before right?

Btw what do you mean by 2 consecutive nt combos? Like tatw amatw nt - amatw amatw nt?
forget Ronaldinho....only one deserves the -inho suffix......Jabarinho!!!!

 :iagree:

We need a really basic Beginner level. There should be obvious differences between each level. Beginner should be really, really basic, then the majority of average freestylers should be in Intermediate. The top quality guys obviously after that.

yeh it looks better :great:

......but one thing is i think some beginners may still be intimidated by the NTs. This is what some guys were saying in the other thread.

Here's an idea, add a new one called beginner which is seriously basic tricks. tatw, matw, and latw being the hardest period tricks. No nt at all.

Than you progress with 4 levels instead of 3.
1. Beginner
2. Intermediate
3. Advanced
4. Expert
