I never disrespected Chelsea. I credited them for doing it the way they did. If I said they were the best team in Europe or they played pretty football, I'd be lying. I'll be honest with ya. Liverpool weren't the best team in Europe in 2005 when we won it. Juve or Milan were, but we beat both of them, so we deserved the trophy. You are probably too young to remember something as far back as 2005. Chelsea deserved it as well, but just weren't that entertaining.

Don't use Liverpool in football  arguments? Ya, the most successful English team of all time. They really suck and have no place to be considered in  football discussion. Must be amazing supporting a team like Chelsea still in single digits on all championships they have won. Also, enjoy that mini CL trophy they get to keep in their trophy cabinet. Are ya bitter we beat you so many times this season?

I can't support any team from another league? I'd say most football fans that follow multiple leagues at least kind of have a team they prefer to win. Why wouldn't you? I'm not hardcore about them, but I prefer them to other La Liga teams. Oh, who the hell is athletico? Please don't try to tell me things about football if you don't even know the names of the teams. There is Athletic Bilbao and Atletico Madrid.

On the subject of how teams play football. Well, I'll be the 1st to say if it means Liverpool winning, I couldn't give a shit how ugly and terrible they played. I would know it's ugly though, and I wouldn't get offended by it when people say it.. The thing is, I don't watch football only because I support a team. I watch football, because I love the game and appreciate the skill involved in playing. This means I want to see people using attracting attacking styles of plays that are exciting. I wouldn't like the sport if I didn't appreciate the beautiful parts of the game more than some of the more brash or ugly parts. I have a vast respect for tough players that foul, tackle, etc. but goals, skills, and passing are more beautiful.

and barca bayern benfica napoli failed miserably

By saying we failed miserably you're basically saying Chelsea is shit.  You only fail miserably if you lose to a lesser side.  Well done. :039:

actually there are many fans who do not care about the style of football their team plays. Some people place higher value on it than others.

False.  Only those who support the team who plays the negative football are for it.  They are for anything their team does if it works.  This includes negative football.  You can't tell me these fans wouldn't prefer a more attractive style of football if their team could do it.  These fans will take what they can... but they would certainly prefer their team to play attractive football if they could do it and win.  Nobody chooses negative football over good football if the results are the same.

Adi, you have to remember there are a large portion of fans that understand so little about football they cannot tell the difference. The majority  of all sports fans kind of half watch while socializing with friends  or doing something else. They only tune in for the important parts like goals. This type of fan could care less how their team plays as long as they are winning. They don't realize their team plays ugly football, and they are typically the ones offended when people say that about their team.

its true yeah

Liverpool, so successful that they haven't won a league for more than 30 years
i think your bitter your team has no hope of acheiving anything meanful
yeah we haven't won as much, but thats great for you, keep the same few teams that have always won trophies at the top, never let any new teams try and challenge this, this makes it so interesting to have a competition thats constantly between man utd arsenal lpool
will be like spanish or scottish league

I can't support any team from another league? I'd say most football fans that follow multiple leagues at least kind of have a team they prefer to win. Why wouldn't you? I thought you were suggesting you were a passionate athletico madrid fan at the same time you like liverpool, which is silly
the awkward moment when an american tries to tell you the names of "soccer" teams. most people will call athletico bilbao simply blibao, and athletico madrid simply athletico

hate debating about freestyle, everyone becomes so opionated and disrespectful. better to just talk freestyle and other things

yeh yeh  I meant to say some fans don't care MUCH about style and care more for winning. Definitely they will prefer to see attractive football though.

Damiano, I just think you need to take a writing class or something. You fail to write even what I think you are trying to say. Also, you arguments once again don't make sense. Me talking about Liverpool's trophy success makes the league boring, because only the same teams winning? I never said anything about this. I was extremely happy when City won the league this year, because it makes the league more interesting. No, I'm not bitter about not having won the league in so long. That's a part of life. We have still had some great success without winning  the league, and I think the new owners are going to make an effort to bring us back to the top.

I said in my original post that I was not a hardcore Atletico Madrid fan. It's Atletico, not Athletico(that's just jibberish). Athletic Bilbao is the proper name. I honestly don't see why you can't have a team for each league. It just makes following more than one league more enjoyable. I support Liverpool above all other teams, but I don't see where the problem is. I think most multiple league fans do the same.

I think this is the awkward moment when you realize an American knows more about football than you. You've brought that up before. You don't like USA? It's not like New Zealand is a football nation either. I'll never get in an argument about rugby with you, because I know very little about it.
