United controled the first half up but didn't finish Chelsea off when they should have, via Carrick and Tevez twice. Chelsea equalized at the best possible time and came back the 2nd half having the initiative but they didn't really create much chances.

Overall United have been the best team in the CL this season. They rode thier luck a few times, but every team that wins the CL has a bit of luck along the way. Desreved winners in the end.

chelsea played better through out the majority of the game. i knew ronaldo would miss his penalty i cant stand when players do the shimmy, stopping run ups on penalties. did anyone notice all of chelsea penalties went to the right and anelka went to the left and it was saved lol.

I think United had a way better run at the Champion's League as a whole. We fully deserved it if you look at the way we played, and we were also unbeaten I believe.

Chelsea played very well in the final, but we had our chances too.

This is sort of similar to 1999 if you think about it .. they hit the crossbar and the post.. which also happed in 1999. Then United made a stellar comeback (in present date, it would be in the penalty kicks).
