The best sitdown position?
« on: Nov 25, 2011, 08:57: AM »
Recently I have started to learn sitdown juggles. But I have a problem. Most time on my trainings I spend on looking for suitable position. Whenever I find it easy to juggle, the next time, my position is other and it is not easy anymore. I realised that some freestylers are more lying than sitting, some are making juggles close to the body, some further. So what's the best position? Sometimes I can do 25 juggles switching legs every 3 and sometimes I can make just 2 or 3 ;/

Seeing as you've recently started, you'll find that out on your own with time.
Some people prefer having almost no hand support, like Palle. Which means you have to have a strong core. I think it would be easier not to go do this method. When you're leaning back, you recruit your hip flexors a lot more(which should be strong from doing lowers).

I'm no expert in sits but if you look at it from a muscle point of view, I think I'm right. Can any experts confirm this?

-Don't break combos.
-Don't use crossovers to save combos.
-If you're a new freestyler looking to improve, check the stickys in the help and advice section.

:great:

Upper body as tall as possible, with eyes above your knees and legs at a cca 90 degree angle and of course, your arms/hands supporting your upper body.

1. Every rule has it's expection, another example would be Kamalio.
2. Yamato doesn't do that.
3. You're not them.
