NT and height

I think this mite have been discussed before but i'm unsure,anyway....

do you guys think it is easier for a freestyler who is tall to do no touch than a freestyler who is short, like a taller freestyler would have more time to go around the ball and therefore his touch would not have to be as precise regarding the height of the ball during the combo, i am 5'7 i'm not the shortest of people but definitely not one of the tallest lol i find it hard to do no touch unless my touch is spot on, anything higher than just above my waist its easy to lose balance

some great nt freestylers: mirko, azun, palle (all tall)

what are your opinions and what freestylers can you think of who are under 5'8 who are good at no touch...

I'm almost 5'10 now and I don't see much of an advantage in my freestyle as compared to when I was 5'3 when I started freestyle... :/   Height must have some relation to nt combos but I don't think it makes a huge difference at all. Look at Patrick Edwards, he's like probably 5 ft (not sure) and he does lots of nt stuff with crossovers and tatws.

klikla is really short and he has one of the highest nt levels in the world so yeah it possible to do nt if your smaller the 5ft 8

hmm i think it depends on which nts. I saw that tall people really have advantages in timo nt and ahtatw nt (maybe also in atatw nt but i am not sure about that). My explanation to that would be that if they kick the ball as high as a smaller freestyler would do to start ahtatw nt they are still above the ball witht heir knee why smaller freestylers are more like on the same height of the ball. dunno how to explain it better.

If you believe smaller balls make freestyle easier then you'd have to believe that height makes all the difference.
Think of it relatively. 2m freestyler vs 1.5m freestyler. The ball is much smaller for the 2m freestyle so he can move around the ball much easier with less effort.

This is a good point. i see anders and klikla use the rbss balls just of late when they doing crazy no touch combos, and not to pick on azun but a regular size 5 looks like a size 4 when he freestyles lol

im not saying no touch is impossible for a short freestyler but i think they would be at a slighter disadvantage regardless

when you're short, you can rotate your legs faster, because a longer leg makes a higher mass moment of inertia. A tall guy has slower movements, but more time. That's why you might think it looks easier, because it's slower, but i doubt that...

For me, no touch combos have a lot more to do with leg strength and power than height. As Budz said, Klikla is smaller than me, yet has an amazing level. I think anyone has the potential to be one of the best at no touch, just depends how often you train it and how efficiently.

it is only going to make a difference if rest of the factors are considered, like leg strength and power ( as TF mentioned ). Height alone is not enough. but lets leave it all to practise or invite Discovery Channel with their body sensors to visit klikla's house.

but like i see evry comment i am see the crasso nts in live and he es very tall and the time he have for do the nts is most than pedrinhow for exemple anhoter smaller freestyler sos more easy still the balance in the nts for ppl that is high but klikkla is a exemple that if u are smaller u can do it equal so try jajaj. sorry for my excesive bad english.
